The Narrative
Narsingh Temple is an important Hindu temple situated in Joshimath, Uttarakhand, and is a significant part of the famous Sapt Badri Yatra. The temple is dedicated to Lord Narsingh, the divine fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu in half-man and half-lion form. According to belief, the idol of Lord Narsingh was established by Adi Shankaracharya himself. The temple is known for its remarkable traditional Himalayan architecture and great religious significance.
